The Medbourne messenger Community Website is intended as
a means for sharing information, to be used by anyone of any age-group with an interest in the community. The website is an
independently run service, and is supported entirely by volunteers. Any individual or organisation may submit information
for publication on the website, either directly to the publisher or by other means as appropriate, eg by 'signing' the guestbook.
All contributed material is reviewed by the publisher before being
published. Any material that is considered by the publisher to be inaccurate, inappropriate for the website, or unsuitable
for children, is rejected. Views expressed on the website are generally those of the contributor, and do not necessarily align
with the views of the publisher.
Internet Safety Laws dictate that if you are under the age
of 13 you are prohibited from making a submission to this site. By continuing, you hereby acknowledge that you are over the

Identification of Children
The Medbourne Messenger Community Website does not publish personal
details or names (which means first name, last name, or full name) accompanying photographs of children (under 18 years old),
except where express permission has been received from a parent or legal guardian. In the case of photographs directly relating
to local schools, authorisation to publish photographs of pupils will be obtained from the school headteacher. Permission
will be obtained from an appropriate responsible person whenever photographs of children are being taken, eg school headteacher,
youth group leader, or event organiser. Where consent has been obtained to publish photographs of children, a generalised
label will be used to describe the photograph, eg Halloween in Medbourne.
Data Protection
In order to comply with the law, data relating to the Medbourne Messenger
Community Website is managed in accordance with the following eight principles that have been defined in The Data Protection
Act 1998
